Here are the results of Canada's most recent Express Entry draw on November 9, 2022.
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued 4,750 invites to Canadian permanent resident hopefuls in the latest all-program draw — including candidates in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP).
This latest draw invited candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 494, down two points from the draw that took place on October 26, 2022 (minimum CRS score of 496).
Canada's next Express Entry draw will be conducted in roughly another two weeks' time.
About Express Entry
Express Entry is a crucial pathway used by the Canadian federal government to bring international skilled workers to this country by offering permanent residence.
One common misconception about Express Entry, however, is that Express Entry itself is the name of a Canadian immigration program. Rather, Express Entry is what Canada calls the system it uses to cumulatively manage skilled worker applications from the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP).
The first step to applying for permanent residence through Express Entry is to determine eligibility for any of the three programs under this system. From there, qualified applicants will need to submit a profile on IRCC's website and check their CRS score, which will be the determining factor as to whether they receive an invitation to apply (ITA).
Applicants who receive an ITA from IRCC will have 60 days to then send off their electronic application for permanent residence (eAPR) in Canada.
