Here are the draw results from Canada's latest Express Entry round of invitations on April 26, 2023.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted another Express Entry draw yesterday, during which 3,500 Express Entry candidates received an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence (PR) in Canada. This all-program draw continues IRCC's recent trend, bringing the immigration department's streak to five straight all-program draws.

Note: All-program draws consider candidates from all three programs managed under the Express Entry application management system - the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP).

In their most recent draw today, the immigration department issued ITAs to candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 483. This CRS cut-off score is down three points from Canada's last all-program draw on April 12, 2023 (minimum CRS score of 486).

Immigration candidates who remain in the Express Entry pool can likely expect another draw in around two weeks.

About Express Entry

Express Entry is the system that Canada's federal government uses to manage immigration applications from the CEC, the FSWP, and the FSTP.

Through these programs, the Express Entry system has become Canada's main way to bring foreign skilled workers from global destinations to this country. This is accomplished by offering PR to qualified and interested international skilled workers, allowing them the opportunity to start a new life in Canada while contributing to the country's social and economic development.

To receive an ITA during an Express Entry draw, which is the only way to apply for Canadian PR via Express Entry, foreign skilled workers who are interested in coming to Canada must first verify that they are eligible for at least one of the CEC, the FSWP or the FSTP. Now, eligible candidates can go online and create an IRCC account, which will allow them to submit a profile electronically through the immigration department's website. At this time, all candidates with an Express Entry profile can take a moment to review their CRS score.

All candidates within the Express Entry pool must now wait for the next round of invitations (Express Entry draw) issued by IRCC. These draws will invite candidates in the pool who have an eligible CRS score - above the cut-off CRS score for that particular draw - to submit a formal online application for permanent resident status in Canada.

Note: This formal application process involves submitting an electronic Application for Permanent Residence (eAPR) to IRCC online, a process that applicants have 60 days to complete (starting from the day they receive an ITA).
