A total of 358 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination were issued to Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC candidates on November 10.
The November 10 British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) draw saw minimum scores ranging from 75 to 94 points depending on the category. The points are assigned when candidates register through the BC PNP's Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) and are awarded based on economic and human capital factors, such as education, work experience, language abilities.
All Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC candidates invited in the November 10 draw need an indeterminate, full-time job offer from an employer in the province.
Candidates invited under the Express Entry BC categories are awarded an additional 600 points towards their Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score once their provincial nomination is approved by the province. Candidates with a provincial nomination move to the front of the line for an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence in a subsequent federal Express Entry draw.
Remaining Skills Immigration candidates who obtain a British Columbia provincial nomination will have their Canadian permanent residence applications processed by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) separate from the Express Entry system.
The minimum scores for each category in the November 10 BC PNP draw were as follows:
