The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program issued 32 invitations to apply for a British Columbia provincial nomination in the latest tech pilot draw that took place on September 12.
All candidates issued invitations to apply in the latest British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) were required to have a job offer that is at least one year (365 days) in duration in one of the tech pilot's 29 priority occupations and demonstrate that they meet all other eligibility requirements for the program.
Candidates invited under the Express Entry BC streams will obtain an additional 600 additional points toward their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) if their provincial nomination applications are approved.
The remaining Skills Immigration candidates who are approved for nomination by the province will have their Canadian permanent residence applications processed by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) outside the Express Entry selection system.
To begin the process of applying for a British Columbia provincial nomination under BC's tech pilot, individuals are required to submit a complete an online profile using the BC PNP's Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).
