The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program invited 19 Entrepreneur Immigration candidates to submit a complete application to the program on February 27. The minimum score was 108.
All entrepreneur candidates had to first create a profile and register with the BC PNP's online application and registration system, BC PNP Online.
Potential entrepreneur candidates have to include a short business concept and pay a non-refundable fee of $300 CAD to register.
BC PNP Entrepreneur Immigration registrants are assigned points based on various factors, including business ownership/senior management experience, personal net worth, and adaptability. The business concept is typically scored by the BC PNP within six weeks of registering. The maximum cumulative score available is 200.
The BC PNP invites the highest-scoring registrants to apply to the Entrepreneur Immigration stream through periodic draws.
Invited registrants will have up to 120 days (approximately four months) from the date of invitation to submit a complete application to the BC PNP.
If an application is later approved, entrepreneurs sign a Performance Agreement and receive a Letter of Confirmation to apply for a two-year work permit with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
