British Columbia invited 42 Express Entry B.C candidates and Skills Immigration candidates with a minimum score of 90 to apply for a provincial nomination in a new Tech Pilot draw held July 2.
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) Tech Pilot was launched in 2017 to recruit and retain skilled workers and satisfy the demand for talent in 29 occupations in the technology sector.
The Tech Pilot is open to eligible registrants with a one-year, full-time job offer in one of the targeted in-demand technology occupations.
Invitations issued on July 2 went to candidates registered in the Express Entry B.C. (EEBC) Skilled Worker and International Graduate categories and candidates in the Skills Immigration (SI) Skilled Worker and International Graduate categories.
It was the seventh consecutive Tech Pilot draw with a minimum score of 90 in each of the four targeted categories.
Skilled Workers and International Graduates invited under the Express Entry BC and Skilled Immigration streams who are approved for a British Columbia provincial nomination will receive an additional 600 Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points toward their Express Entry profile.
