Alberta's unemployment rate fell again last month as the province created 13,600 jobs in July. Alberta's 3.3 percent unemployment rate was the lowest in the country for the 13th straight month, according to Alberta Employment, Immigration and Industry.
With a booming economy, Alberta remains the centre of job creation in Canada. Over the past year, the province has created nearly 100,000 jobs, mainly in the building, business, construction, support services, and wholesale trade sectors.
The Conference Board of Canada expects that the provincial economy will continue to grow steadily in 2008, creating manyjob opportunities in Alberta.
