I applied for Opportunities Ontario as an International Masters graduate, after getting nominated I proceeded with submitting my application to CIO (about 3 weeks back). I got a post-graduation work permit before starting to work in my current job, but I forgot to apply for a worker's visa at that time. I had to travel outside of Canada at a short notice for work purpose. While coming back I had to use my student visa (which is still valid) and declare my purpose of visit as "Studying". I am now feeling concerned that this incident may indicate to the CIC that I joined some educational program and thus disqualify as a nominee (a requirement of being a nominee as an International Masters graduate is that you can't join any educational program unless it's required by your current job). Can any of you suggest something about what needs to be done in this situation? I haven't yet received my file number, so don't know the current status of my application at this point.
