Just want to inform you something suspicious.

One of my friend's applied for Canadian study permit & some one from Canada has helped him. My friends got his visa & that person has asked the visa copy from him because he has told him that he needs to do something with University.

After my friend sent his visa copy, that person is blackmailing my friend saying that he needs large sum of money from my friend if not he will report my friend's information to the Canada immigration saying that my friend is having another intention in his mind & that is why he is coming to Canada, he is saying if he reported it to the Immigration my friend will not be permitted to come in side the country.

Now my friend is really upset & he doesn't know what to do... (He didn't pay any money to that person yet)

Really appreciate if you can advise me whether anyone can do something like this (He is not a relation to my friend also)

Your early reply is appreciated

That happens when you trust in strangers, don't worry about the visa status , Canada , etc. NOW worry that he knows personal information about you , he can track you , so the only thing to do is to report this person to the police , contact the Canadian embassy and expose to them your case.
Dude if you have already gotten your visa that's why Canada trust in you , that man only wants to fool you and obtain some money from you. Report him immediately and stop talking to him , change your phone number , and if it is possible change your college , so he wont find you while your staying in Canada.

WELL SAID JACK ! :)

@usboy -- ASK YOUR FRIEND TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST THIS CULPRIT. TAKE IT TO EMBASSY, POLICE... YOUR FRIEND IS NOT THE CRIMINAL HERE, RATHER HE IS THE VICTIM! I'M SURE THE CANADIAN EMBASSY WILL UNDERSTAND THIS SITUATION. FIGHT BACK! DON'T GIVE UP AND DON'T PAY A DIME TO THAT BUGGER.
