Young professional visa IEC apply while in Canada?

Hi I am currently working on a IEC work and holiday visa already 5 months and have till the year left , I just saw pools for YP visa are open , could I apply for YP within Canada ? or should I wait to finish my Iec working holiday ? my employer could make me a job offer , but will be for start after my Work and holiday, and this will be in 6 months
