Hello all.

I know that this question was asked thousand times but I just tried to consolidate all questions and possible scenarios re spouse foreign Work Experience (WE) in one, so maybe it will help someone in the future.

Which one of the below is the best/better option to proceed for SPOUSE “foreign” WE (for which we are obviously not getting any points)?:

PRE-ITA:

While creating EE profile, in the work history section of SPOUSE states:
Does XXXXXX have any work history? (required)

If your answer is “YES” and you receive ITA:
  • it will be included in the checklist;
  • you have to submit/upload the ref. letters related to the each declared work/job or;
  • you can remove/delete it and add all your WE in the personal history section and no proof of employment will be required;

If your answer is “NO” and you receive ITA:
  • it will not be included in the checklist;
  • you can just mention all WE in the personal history section only, and no proof of employment will be required;
  • the answer “NO” won't show any misrepresenting data

Thank you in advance.

Thank you for this valuable info.
I have received Ontario nomination while I opted for the option 'NO'.
But I have attached the joining and relieving letters of my spouse in Ontario application.
Still pre ITA the option was 'No' only.
What should I do?

Hi Melinkiton.
I also have same doubt . So did you faced any problem when you mentioned spouse experience as NO in EE pre ITA and then added the spouse exp in personal history post ITA.
