Hi there,

I am sitting at 437 which claims I have 1-year experience under the scoring system. I hope I can have higher scores by claiming I have 3-years experience.

I currently have 4 years experience outside of Canada but under different NOC code. For example, 2-years under code 0111, and 2-years under code 2161. And, I am going to use 2161 as my primary NOC code.

I am a bit confused on how many years of working experience I can claim on the scoring system. My question is: Can I claim that I have 4 years experience? or just only 2 years?

Hello,

You can claim points for every year of work experience you have. You will have to prove your experience. You can have experience with multiple NOC's (which is the case for most of the people).

Primary NOC is all your work experience put together into an NOC.
