I was intending to apply for Master in Electrial Engineering at University of Alberta, but their site states that The MEng program is currently on hold until further notice. What should i do? I dont have a very good profile to go for research based degree, and i really wanted to study at U of Alberta. It was cheap too.

BS EE 3.08 cgpa
Matric 84%
Fsc 75%
IELTS 6.5-7.5 expected.

What other universities you can suggest? How about u of calgary? will they accept me? Secondly i have 13k tuition fee limit. i cant pay more. Brothers please suggest time is running out. Thanks in advance.

Low enrollment probably makes it not feasible to hire profs and setup classes if they can't make that money back in tution fees.

You'll see it a lot with certain courses also where profs will entice you to sign up a course they are teaching in the future so they have enough students registered to keep the course offered.

to minimize cancellations, they will also only offer a certain course only once a year.

But an entire program under review is either very low registration or their program structure is being updated/ fixed for whatever reason.
