Wrong Start Date (re-apply?)

Hi guys. So I just applied for a TRV within canada and under "Indicate how long you plan to stay", I specified October 2016 in the "from" field. However, I'm actually leaving the country on August 2016 to travel and coming back Sept 2016 so I felt like I should have specified Sept in the "from" field instead.


How do I correct this mistake? Is it possible to withdraw my application (submitted a day ago) and then re-apply?

Yes, it is possible. Send a specific case inquiry requesting it to be cancelled.

Thanks for the guidance. I submitted the web form, but i'm not sure if they're going they'll see it on time as it says "We will not respond to your enquiry if the application is within normal processing times." according to https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx
