Wrong date of birth on old passport

Hi

I am applying for my spouse. His dob on his old passport is wrong. He traveled to few countries ( not north america) with that passport. Now he corrected his dob in his new passport and issued age assesment certificate because he lost his original birth certificate ( this the reason why he got a wrong dob in the first place) so is that would be an issue when we apply for his pr?

I would include a letter of explanation, the age assessment certificate, and any other proof you have of this.
What country is he from?
