I am a new joiner of this forum and have few questions if somebody can help me get answers -

I am currently working in Montreal, QC since Dec 2011 on Work Permit which is going to expire Dec 31st 2012.
I have to continue my work here and hence needed extension of WP. For that i started the extension process in Sep 2012 and file my LMO/CAQ application in Oct through my lawyers.
It seems now i have to fill my CAQ application again due to some problem in my representative forms while filing for LMO/CAQ together.

My lawyer has asked me to send new CAQ applications soon which i already did today. Can anybody advise me on following -

1) Since my WP expiry is near , what is the best way to get WP and when to apply that? is it along with new CAQ/LMO application ?
2) My wife was having a dependent WP which is also going to expire with me, how would i get WP for her as well as she is also working with me?
3) Is it too late to start with the process again as i am starting from scratch for my application now?

Please advise as i am in a fear now as how would i get my WP ? I came to know if i file for my WP before expiry i will be having "IMPLIED" status and can work for 3 months, but need to understand chances of getting WP in coming 3 months.

Please assist.

Thanks in advance..

"Implied status" has no expiry date, it will be like that till CIC makes decision on your case.

You can extend your wife's WP together with yours, but she needs her own application form. Fees canbe paid together.
