WP Application at Riyadh CVAC (VFS Global)

Hi Friends........

I'm an Indian Civil Engineer, working in Riyadh.

My Work Permit Application Timeline is as follows.........

Visa Office : Riyadh
Job Offer : Yes
NOC : 2253
Date of application : 03 Nov. 2013 (via VFS Global)
PP submitted with application........
Request for Police certificate (KSA & India) : 07 Nov. 2013
Submitted Police Certificate: 19 Nov. 2013

.....and after that no updates!!!

On 30 Dec. 2013 I sent email to embassy requesting some updates abt my application & in reply they mentioned 1 line "Your application is still under process"

Any1 applied through VFS recently??? share your experience pls....

Thx for joining.......

Yes it is 5 months as mentioned on the website, which is subjected to change anytime....... but at the time of submission, the VFS executive told me it will take 4 to 6 weeks for processing the work permit. After contacting VFS helpdesk; they also repeated the same words..... and when I contacted Embassy they only mentioned that my application is under processing, they didn't give idea about actual/expected processing time.

BTW what is your status......... are you also applying from Riyadh???

Based on your experience, would you suggest me to write to them periodically or not at all??

Im November applicant but through ONLINE... have you receive your medical request??
