A visit to the embassy will do nothing. They won't tell you anything and probably won't even let you speak to anyone other than the guard at the door.

Do you mean order your CAIPS notes? You can if you want to. You don't mention which embassy you are going through so you may be well within normal processing times so the CAIPS might not say much.

CAIPS note it is cost 5$ only you ll see what officer said in your case file, and where is it now , it very good for you because your time pass long time ago

I was thinking of ordernig my CAIPS notes but then I thought about it and other than providing me with some information (probably nothing I don't already know anyway), it really doesn't change anything. I mean, it's not going to make anything go faster.

If the normal timeline has come and passed then contact the visa office in whatever way they tell you to on the website.

Otherwise I don't think there is anything to do but keep waiting.
