Hi Team,

I have applied for Express Entry CEC two months before. I was in Quebec and moved to Ontario on May 2019. It took 4 months to find a job. I was not able to get Ontario health insurance since one of the requirement states that I need to be in a full time for about 6 months. On April 3rd 2020 I submitted my profile and received AOR. Couple weeks ago I received medical pass. Now I have my ETA for PR as October 3rd. Everything was so far good until a friend of mine who told me to change the QUEBEC license to Ontario license (Which at this moment centers are not opened).

I just wondering to know if its required to change my Quebec license to Ontario and submit the proof to my PR online profile Even-though I have submitted T4 , NOA (Ontario current employer) and paid the tax for 2019 in Ontario. However I did see anywhere in the requirements of CEC to show address proof.Below are the docs that I have submitted.
1-History of employment.
2-Current emp offer letter and letter of employement.
3-T4 , payslip , NOA - Ontario current company.
4- IELTS

Any idea if this is a case at all to think off ?
I just wanted to provide every required proof so I dont have to worry about negative case scenario.
Please have provide your rationale.

Thanks a lot.

Changing your Quebec license to Ontario is a requirement for Ontario, not IRCC. You should be changing it whenever you get a chance, but no need to worry about your application due to this. Since you have already provided documents to prove that you are a resident of Ontario, it should not be an issue.

Thanks Maverick. We should get a beer LOL.
By the way what are these GCMS notes will it serve its purpose ?
