Would I still need to book the 3-day hotel stopover if I am fully vaccinated?

The gov website says I would still need to prepare a "suitable quarantine plan" even if I am vaccinated. Does a "suitable quarantine plan" include the hotel stopover. Does this mean I still need to book the 3-day hotel stopover cause the hotel fees are pre-paid and non-refundable. It makes no sense.

The answer is no. I am in the same situation, I am planning to book 3 days airbnb which is enough time to get the result of the covid test. Once the test comes back negative there is no further quarantine required

are you 100% sure? whether or not the exemption applied is decided by border officials at the moment of landing right? shouldn’t you arrange the 3 day hotel quarantine in case they deem you ineligible for the exemption, even if you had been vaccinated with one of the 4 approved vaccines?

it just says a ‘suitable quarantine plan’, whatever that means. it’s not clear whether booking a normal hotel/airbnb stay is ‘suitable’

Well thay could be any hotel at normal rates, not the 3-day quarantine rates, one would probably have to order food online until the test result comes through. We will know for sure once changes are made to the Arrivecan app from 5th July
