Working under the NAFTA TN visa

I am an American looking for employment in Canada in the IT field. I noticed that Computer Systems Analyst was one of the careers not needing an LMO. So I had two questions.

1) How broad is each career in the in NAFTA defined? In other words, would there be any issue proving that my career is covered under NAFTA TN visas?

2) How much easier is getting a work permit if your career field is covered under a NAFTA TN visa?
