Working off campus in 1st 6 months without part time work visa.

I want to know that Do people get work in canada without work permit in 1st 6 months.
And after work visa do people work more the 20 hrs limit .

Hi,

You CANNOT work OFF-Campus in the 1st 6 months of actual study of your program. After 6 months, you can apply for OCWP (with an OCWP you can work for max. of 20 hours/week, i.e part time). For the 1st 6 months, you CAN ONLY work part time (max. 20 hours/week) in your educational institute... i.e ON-Campus jobs. On campus jobs are very limited. You will be lucky to get one.

After completion of your studies from a recognized educational institute of atleast 2 sem/1 acd. year/ actual 8 months of study... you will be eligble for a PGWP, which will let you to work full time anywhere , any job in Canada.
