Hi everyone.
We (my spouse and me) are living/working in Montreal, Quebec. We plan to apply for Express Entry. In long term, we will move to Ottawa after finding a job over there.
However, we have to stay and keep our current address in Quebec since we are working on-site. As far as we understood, it is better to have another address outside of Quebec for showing our intention to leave Quebec, So, we plan to have a second address in Ottawa. My close friend is moving to Ottawa, so we plan to rent a big place together and share the rent/bills.
Here are a few of our questions:
1) Is it a good idea to have a second address in Ottawa, while working/living in Quebec?
2) How we can show the second address in the application? Is it necessary to have my name on the lease? Or, only 1-2 bills are enough?
3) Does it create any complications for Driving Licence, Health Insurance (RAMQ), Incom Tax, etc.?
4) Any other suggestions/experiences are welcome.
Thank you all for your feedback.
