Working in Canada while waiting for the PGWP - Date Limit?

Hello there!

I hope you all are doing well. I understand that one is allowed to work full-time while they are waiting for their PGWP. I have applied for the PGWP on February 23rd, and I got a letter stating:

"Please attach this letter to your present Study permit Number XXXX as proof that you are authorized to work for any employer, in any occupation with no restriction on hours until June 23rd or until a decision is made on your application, whichever is first"

Now my question is, what if IRCC does not get back to me by June 23rd? Does that mean I have to stop working on that date? Or can one continue working? The official site only says that you can work while waiting for your PGWP, and the letter rendered me a little confused.

I would appreciate it if anyone has any insights on this!

Thanks
