Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
I work in windsor and my husband is from near detroit. It's easier for me to cross the border as I have the NEXUS card and my husband is on a work visa in US and hasn't obtained his canadian PR yet. Since I am a PR, it's still easier for me to travel across the border. In order to complete days for citizenship, I need to stay in canada until july next year. Is it a possibility that until my husband gets his PR and finally moves to canada with me, we could stay together in US until then ? I will still be coming in to work everyday, and would still have my apartment here, but probably not really staying here all the time.
Please let me know what is the best way to deal with this.

Since you are not a Cdn citizen yet, you are a PR who is sponsoring spouse, you are required to remain/live in Canada. (check sponsorship regulations)

By living outside Canada (moving to US), you won't be able to count the days for citizenship nor for PR renewal because your job is IN Canada.

Better to stay IN Canada and just keep visiting him until he eventually gets his PR and moves to Canada.
