Hi to every one! :)

Well lets see if anyone can help me with this.

I'm TFW that came with a pilot project from the government of Alberta, Welders didn't need a LMIA. I had to pass a Apprenticeship Written test and a Practical test to get my Journeyman certification and Red Seal to get a 2 year visa extension.

I been working for the same company almost to years in calgary, still working.

I summited my application for EE last night. And I received an email saying that i don't have a job offer (i did put that on the application). How is that possible? It because i don't have LMIA assessment?

Another thing, its about the studys in canada. I have a Journeyman Qualification with a diploma issued by the Government of Alberta, it will be correct to put it as a Study in Canada?. To get that certification you have to study 3 years or qualify in one exam if you have 5 years of experience.

Thanks for your help.

You need an approved LMIA to be considered as having a job offer under EE (and to get the additional 600 points). It doesn't matter that your job is LMIA exempt.

So because you don't have an LMIA you don't have a job offer. The email you received is correct.
