Hi everyone,

I worked in tax auditing for one year and have been working as a tax consultant for 9 months so far. I would like to change my domain from tax into marketing.

1) If I use my tax experience to apply the visa (Express entry federal skilled workers), would I be allowed to work in marketing in Canada?

Thank you in advance!

Once you have applied for and landed as a PR nobody cares what work you are employed in as long as legal and if requiring a licence, licensed. You can work in Tim Hortons or McDonald’s if needs must once you are a landed PR and unfortunately many skilled people start in survival jobs until something comes up.

Firstly I would like to highlight some points related to your work experience......you mentioned that you have only 9 months of experience.....so let me clear that for applying for a PR you should have a minimum of 1 years work experience in a field.
And also you can work in any field you get job there......nothing matters until you are working their legally.
