Working Holidays Activation from Canada

Hello,

I got my working holidays visa approved while I'm in Canada as a visitor.

I know flag poling was banned as of Dec last year so my plan was to fly to Seattle for a couple nights and return by plane to activate my visa at the airport.

Is that doable? I'm from Spain, so the US is not my home country. I've read a lot online about this and most people say it's ok since that doesn't count as flagpoling.

Can anyone confirm this?
