Hello,

I was wondering if you can leave Canada with a WHV and go to another country in Europe for example and come back to Canada? Would the same visa still work (in the time frame of 1 year of course)? And if yes, would my time spent in another country shorten my Visa? I'm sorry if this question was already asked, I just want to be sure.

Thank you for your answers.

Yes - you can return to Canada.

If you get a 1 year visa - that the duration you get - it can't be extended. If you spent six months outside of Canada within that year leaving you only six months in Canada where you're able to work - that's entirely your choice.

I'm not sure what you mean by shorten your visa.
