Hello,

I am applying for WHV at http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/hungary-hongrie/experience_canada_experience/index.aspx

Well, I was curious about proof of funds. With other required forms I need 2500 CAD proof of funds, that I need to send to embassy.
My question then is:
-do I need 2500 when I arrive at the airport or
-do I need 2500 just to proceed with application (and then buy a ticket with it)?

What I mean, are my expenses:
........processing fee+proof of funds+travel ticket or;
........processing fee+proof of funds

Thank you very much for any responses.

oh, and another thing:

you need:>>Letter of offer from a Canadian employer proving you have obtained a pre-arrangement contract for a work placement or internship.

Is letter of offer LMO?

The application that amount - which means when applying you should send your bank statements which will prove to the immigration officer that you have those funds ready in your account. It's always better to show extra to be on the safer side.

For your other question, you would need a job offer letter - stating where you would work, your term of employment, wage, hours and so on. Keeping an LMO with the job offer letter would be a bonus!!

Thanks, Anil!

Does anyone knows how a guarantee letter looks like? I mean, if I don't have enough funds on my account and one of my parents would guarantee for me. Besides copies of banking statements, how should this letter looks like? Is it in some kind of form or is just written statement like:

John Smith
tatatra43-3423xy
tataratara34

Dear Sir or Madam,

I guarantee that I will provide my son Johnny Smith with all sufficient fund necessary....

Thank you guys

You would need an affadavit - that works for a gaurantee letter. for the proof of funds, you can also show a letter from a Chartered accountant - they should give you a balance sheet with the assets you have, thats includes liquid assets - cash in bank, bank drafts....and so on.

Only nationals from a new countries can apply for a Working holiday visa, check the link: http://www.visabureau.com/canada/working-holiday.aspx

Also there is a limited quota and if you have applied for it before you cannot apply for it again. What is your husband's status in canada, will he be on a study/work permit?

Anil, thank you!
