Working holiday visa

Hello i am an italian citizen and I have been given an acceptance letter to pick up my working holiday work permit for Canada-Ontario. I came to Canada before receiving the acceptance letter to see my fiance who lives in Ottawa ON. I was wondering if I can pick up my working holiday work permit/visa from within Canada? or do I have to leave Canada and come back in to pick it up from customs? if the latter, what should I have with me to not be rejected the working holiday visa. Would it help my case if my girlfriend came with me to pick up my visa?

Hi

You need to flagpole. Head to the Canada-US border, leave Canada, tell US immigration you are flagpoling and turn back around to re-enter Canada to activate your Working Holiday Visa.

As far as I know, you need your letter, passport, proof of medical insurance and proof of funds. If it doesn't say what to bring in your letter, check the website.

Your girlfriend being there won't help in any way.
