working holiday visa to visitor visa, implied status?

Hello,

My working holiday visa will expire soon, and I submitted a visitor visa application to stay as a visitor while I'm waiting for my PR.
I know that working holiday visa cannot be extended and I should stop working as soon as my visa expires because I won't be able to be on implied status. but then what happens if my visitor visa is still in process after my working holiday visa expires?
can I stay? does it count as an implied status? or should I leave?

Please help!

Hi

Though you cannot keep working, you will have Implied Status allowing you to stay in Canada until CIC makes a decision on the visitor app.
