Working Holiday Visa Refusal! Any help appreciated!

Hi there, am new to the forum and am desperately seeking help!

Basically in January I applied for a working holiday Visa, after months of waiting and doubting that I would get one due to being on the waiting list, I finally received the message through Kompass on the 12th August stating that there was quota available and that I could pay for the visa and upload my file of my passport. Stupidly I misread the PDF and believed that I had untill October to pay for it. Needless to say yesterday I received an email stating that my visa had been refused due to non payment and not uploading the photo of my passport. I am absolutely devastated. is there anything I can do get my visa back?

I have tried contacting International Experience Canada (IEC) and they have told me that I need to get in contact with my embassy (London). However unfortunatley it is shut over the weekend! Also I have tried to reapply, the website allows to me to complete all the categories apart from the "IEC Category". It states "The 2014 International Experience Canada (IEC) initiative is not open for the Working holiday category. Please refer to the IEC Website for the status of the quota." So basically I can not reapply.

I am not really sure why I am writing this as it appears that I am doomed but if anyone has any advice or stories of hope it would be greatly appreciated!

It's quite likely you have lost your spot due to non-payment and failure to upload the documents to complete the process - and this spot has now gone to someone else. Contacting the embassy is the right thing to do to confirm if there's any way you can still resolve this issue. You'll have to wait until they re-open after the weekend to see if there's any way to fix this. Note that they are likely closed on Monday as well due to the Labour Day Holiday.

Thank you for the response! I pray that I can I can still get my visa! I tried calling the embassy today but no matter what I did I just kept getting a robot telling me that I should email my enquiry

I have done this! Is there anything you think I can do? I really wanted this Visa I can't believe I made such a mistake!

The consulate is closed, as it is Labour Day.
