So the students will now have to work for an SINP employer for 12 consequite months? But what if a student has breaks in his employment..Say if one person works for Employer A for 6 months and then works for employer B for 6 months, wil that be a problem as the 12 month period is not with one employer.

the new rule started on May 1 2012. Nobody has found out yet in experience as to the answer to your question. Why don't you write to the sinp and ask this question, I'm sure they can clarify it.

they always give mixed answers. I got a email from them saying that a person have 3 weeks to change the job and then they told me that a person is eligible to change his jobs only he needs a new job approval form..I think I am kinda confused on what their requirements actually are!..

well, it did say 12 consecutive months therefore there shouldn't be any interruptions. I guess you can change jobs provided you leave job A today and start job B tomorrow kinda thing. As per the new rule, I suppose with having two jobs for the one year experience, the two employers will have to be SINP registered and the 2 jobs/positions approved as well by SINP to make it count.

What do the others think?
