Work Visa through Seattle

Hi All,

I need your advice/suggestion regarding my work permit that I applied from seattle on Jan 11, 2010. Their processing time is 8 weeks which has been passed already. I am emailing them to ask about the status of my application. I am not getting any reply. I am really frustrated. Please advice me who to contact/what to do.

Seattle does not normally answer to emails. If you had submitted the requirements then you just had to wait out the correspondence. They send correspondence through snail mail (ordinary, i.e.).

How long does it take for a work permit to be processed? In the CIC website (cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/international/15-temp-workers.asp) it says 52% are processed within two days, 54% in 7 days, 56% in 2 weeks and 61% in less than 28 days.
According to this timeline, shouldn't it take them more than 2 months to process?
