Work visa processing time in Canada

Hello All,
I have applied for work visa (2132: mechanical engineer) on 4th June, 2012 from vfs. Today i received status update from vfs that my visa application has been processed & passport is dispatched by Officer in charge from new delhi. Is it possible to that Canadian high commission will process my visa application within weeks time? Is it telling me that my application has been rejected due to some reason? or do i need to appear for medical examination before getting work visa? I would appreciate if any one of you can answer my questions.

I went to the following site http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/processing_times_tr-durees_traitement_rt.aspx?lang=eng&view=d
It looks like Work Permit processing in ND takes a minimum 4 weeks through VFS. Are you actually applying IN CANADA or are you in India? If applying from India, I think a medical is required, so I wonder if they are returning your passport with instructions to get the medical? I hope so. Good Luck.

Thanks for your reply. I am applying from India so they asked for medicals which i completed within 2 days & passport has been sent back. It has been about 10 days from then. I am not sure if 4 weeks for processing in ND includes 1 week of medicals included in it or not?
