Work visa for Spouse

Hi Everyone,

I have recently got Open Work Permit for my spouse and she already has dependent visitor visa(V1 visa type) which is valid till 2026. In next few months we are planning to go out of Canada for vacation. So my question is do i need to again apply for work visa (visa type W1)for her since she don't have work visa or her existing visa is valid once we come back after vacation.

I have heard from one of my friend that if you have work permit than one should need work visa(W1 visa type ) instead of visitor visa(V1 visa type)

Any help or guidance would be appreciated

No, she doesn't need to apply for another TRV.
