Hey,
So I'm in a pretty weird spot right now.
I'm in the process of applying for Permanent Residency in Canada, at the stage where I need to upload my documents and hit apply.
I got a TechPNP nomination via my position at work in BC, Canada.
My Work Visa runs out at the beginning of June, so I need to get an Extension or Bridge Visa to tie me over until I get the final response from the PR application.
This is extremely late, as I'd been told by multiple people that the PR application gives Implied Status, something that isn't true...
However I've read that "If you applied through the PNP and have employment restrictions as conditions of your nomination you can't get a bridging open work permit"
This contradicts what my TechPNP representative has said to me twice over the phone now.
She seems to think I should be able to apply still, although not under an Open Work permit, but using the Work Support Letter instead of an LMIA?
I am completely confused as I can't find an application form anywhere on the CIC website for this.
Please can anyone help?
Cheers,
James
