Work visa approval, start date, and entry into canada

Hi, I am starting a postdoc in Canada. In my job offer letter, the start date is July 1st, but my employer told me I can arrive in Canada in early-mid August. I plan to do that, since I still need to wrap up some personal stuff.

I just got my work visa approved and I should receive my passport back in a couple of days. My question is, if I only arrive in Canada in August to get my Work Permit at the border crossing, will it raise any eyebrows that it took me over a month to get to Canada since receiving my passport, plus the start date of the job being over a month ago?

I couldn't find anything about a time limit to enter after getting your passport back.

Work permit from outside Canada??
If yes, please share ur timeline. My brother applied from India in mid May.

And for ur question, yes it's ok for u to join in mid August.
