I remember seeing someone’s post on a different platform, that a person claiming to be from Canadian Embassy visited their workplace in back home country to verify their work experience after months of approval of application.
Same thing happened with me. I got a call from my former employer that someone claiming to be from Canadian High Commission visited and knew my name and verified my work experience. Asked questions like duration of my work experience, job duties, if I was paid and salary, etc.
It is very strange that after landing in Canada and after months, this is happening?
I don’t know if it’s linked or not, I also received an email from ircc that I’ve been selected for a Survey (Advanis) about my experience with ircc.
Very confused if all of this is real or what.
Would appreciate people’s insights.
