Hi , I am photographer , and aside my full time job I would like to do some extra works
my question is the following can I make invoices without being declared freelancer if I don't overpass some amount of money a year ? like 5000CAD OR SO in this side jobs ?

or is better to get mini-contracts for each side job if I don't want to register as freelance ?

I have an open work permit, work and holiday visa 1 year

Thank you !

You can work however much you want on an open work permit, you just need to follow the correct tax procedures for self-employment income.

thank you for your answer , I know that I can work as many jobs , my question is can I make invoices and no need to fill any self employment documents , if my earnings are less than 5000 cad in this side job ? , I mean can I make invoices without being registered as self employer/freelance ? if my earnings are less than some amount by the end of the year ? or do you know where i can get info about this topic ?
