Hello,

I have several questions regarding immigration plans to Canada.
First, is it possible to start searching for a job in Canada remotely (being outside of Canada) when holding a CoPR, and not yet a PR card?
Second question is regarding professions regulation or licensure.
I have work experience as software developer (NOC 2174) and software engineer (NOC 2173), and would like to work as one of them in Canada. However, my education is in another engineering field. Are NOCs 2173 & 2174 regulated in Canada provinces and require acquiring licensure?

Feedback on the first question: Yes you can, but here HR folks like to meet applicants in person and go through your profile together... It will be very tough to find one remotely.
Feedback on the second question: Each province have there own list... here is one from Ontario: http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/working/OI_HOW_WORK_PROF_PROFS.html. SW engg/developer is not a regulated profession and do not require a license...

Finding a job in Canada remotely is very tough. Some people do not get jobs even after landing here as for JOB, you need a SIN.

2174 and 2173 is not regulated in whole of the Canada, so it depends where are you landing.
