My spouse has had 5 jobs in his career and we filled in all jobs to provide all facts to CIC.
First issue: I have been given ITA under FSW when I would have ideally liked under CEC (eligible for both) just because I gave all facts correct for PoF etc. Is it a good idea to decline the ITA, show less funds and then wait for CEC ITA ?
Second issue: I have been asked to provide work reference letters of all 5 jobs of my spouse when I have not got a single extra point by declaring all his jobs. Please note they say it last 10 years but in the docs list they have asked reference letter even for jobs prior to last 10 years.
It is painfully difficult to collect reference letters from employers in the CIC format especially when these jobs have been left long ago. We have the offer letter, service letter and payslips but still the reference letter is required.
How fair is it for CIC to ask spouse reference letters for all jobs though no point has been gained for that ? anybody in the same situation or reached out to CIC for this ?
Thanks,
caimi
