Hi,
Currently I am on closed work permit and my visa extension is in progress. I got an offer from my client to join full time.
I have below queries to accept the offer:
1) What will be the immigration procedure?
Do my new employer have to file my new visa?
2) When can my current employer take the extension application back only after I resign or before that?
3) As my current visa extension is in progress then can my client file my new work permit parallely with the current extension is still in progress?

Please answer my queries as I am bit nervous.

Thanks in advance !!

Your new employer needs to obtain an approved LMIA and then you will need to apply for a new closed work permit.

Yes, both application can go in parallel. However note that your new employer must get an approved LMIA first.

How long it will take new employer to get LMIA approval?

They have to advertise the job for at least one month according to the LMIA advertisement requirements and then submit the LMIA application. So count on the process taking a few months.
