Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hello,
I have 2 questions regarding work permit.

1) Is there a list of jobs which can be offered to foreign worker to come to work temporary in Canada on a work permit, or job offer for any job offer for any job will be ok?

2) If employer offers me a job which is not on NOC 29 list, but I have previous experience and education for NOC 29 occupations, can I apply for FSW 2 category?

1) I don't know about work permit but i think there may be some excluded jobs but there is no inclusion list. Wait for someone else to answer this.
2a) If you have a job not on the 29 list and it is of skill type 0,A or B and you get 67 points and the job qualifies you for FSW2, then you can apply for FSW2, whether you have experience in a job in the 29 list or not.
2b) if you have experience in a job on the 29 list, and you have 67 points etc, you can apply for FSW1 whether you have a job offer or not.

Good luck.

Ok thanks. That was my concern because I thought that even if I have a job offer from skill type 0, A or B and experience for those occupations, that NOC 29 list is also important.

no, but there are some restricted jobs on FSW2 i think. hopefully someone who knows more can reply back.

And what about one year work permit, if I get a job offer for cleaning houses, can I ask for LMO and temporary work permit? Or depends by the province in which we want to go?

I don't know much about work permit. Sorry. Good luck. Hopefully someone will answer soon.

You're not the only that has to request the LMO. Instead the company that wants to hire you has to apply. For the LMO to be issued, the employer that wants to hire you will have to prove that they couldn't find anyone in Canada to fill the role (i.e. there is no Canadian worker available and qualified to do the job). Look here for more info on LMOs:

Yes I know about that. I was just wondering if there are some jobs which can not be offered for the purpose of temporary work permit. I am just looking other options since my application has been returned, so maybe I should try with work permit for some cleaning jobs or something, just to enter Canada and later I can search for other solutions. What do you think?

Seniors,
I have a question to ask.

While my PR is in process, can i apply for work permit? if yes, will it have delay my PR process?

Getting a work permit to be a house cleaner would probably be near on impossible.

LMO's are usually issued to Companies that are applying for skilled foreign workers, where there are no Canadians available for that job. Without the LMO, no visa and since the recession, Service Canada have been stricter in issuing them.
