Hey all,

I was wondering if it is necessary to apply for the visitor's visa when applying via international experience canada (IEC) with the help of a recognized organization and a citizenship which is usually not exempt from visa?
How is it generally ruled? Is it required to apply for a visa (visit) while attending a work permit?

Thanks for your help

Best regards

Not sure that I understand your question.

If you have applied for an IEC visa post August 2015, the eTA is automatically issued. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=1051&t=16

What country is your passport from?

To be eligible for IEC, I am dependant on the participation of a recognized organization. There is no bilateral agreement between the country of my citizenship (Turkey) and canada.

Is the eTA still issued in this case (iec application after August 2015)?
