Hi All,

I am currently a PhD student who has received an offer of a post-doctoral research position at a Canadian University. As far as I can tell, post-doctoral positions *are* LMIA exempt, however, I am required to tell my employer that they need to submit an offer of my employment online, such that I can include the associated number in my application. Is this correct?

Now, for the online applications I see several (required) documents that I am required to fill in, although I'm not sure they apply to me?

* Proof that I meet the requirements of the Job being Offered: This mentions regulated jobs which require certification, however, my certification *is* my educational qualifications i.e. Master's degree. Am I to upload my degree certificates both here and under the education section?

* It also asks for both 'employment records' and 'letter from current employer' - both requiring a letterheaded statement from my current employer (a university) with 'pay stubs' if available. What is the difference between these two documents?

Thank you for your time.
