i am currently on a closed work permit valid till Feb 2021(employer/location specific , intra company transfer, LMIA exempt) in Ontario. Another employer in another province is interested in hiring me and will initiate a new LMIA approval.
Questions -
a) How much time will it take the new employer to get the LMIA approval?
b) Can i work with new employer on the basis of LMIA approval only, while WP is being processed?
c)What kind of WP will the new WP be? Will it be open or closed (Assuming LMIA is approved)
d) What happens to the current WP, once a new WP is received? Does old one het deactivated?
