HI everyone especially the seniors...I was sent home last year from Canada,I applied for a new
work permit when i got home but was refused. Its already 6 mos since that refusal came about.
Now,my friend(my former employer) is getting married this year, and he wants me to be part of
their wedding entourage. He is going to send me an invitation letter for me to go and visit them.

Now my worries is that, will the immigration question me about my former records?will it affect my
application for tourist visa?(i had worked in Canada for 2 yrs under WP then was sent home, applied
for a new work permit but was refused).

I bought real estate property here in my homeland,im starting a small business,i have a kid, would that
be sufficient enough to satisfy the immigration officers?that i have ties here at home?

Also..would it impact it if they will learn that the person inviting me is my former employer?

i need an advise pls...

The questions are, why were you sent home, and what was the reason given for the refusal of the work permit?

In the end, all you can do is gather as much proof as you can, then apply for a TRV.
