Work permit refusal on failure to give biometrics

Hi there,

My work permit extension was refused because I confused canada pcc with biometric. I had given canada pcc in 2021 which I thought also fulfill biometrics. Therefore, my application was rejected yesterday.



My oinp application is under assessment stage but I had to quit due to the refusal.



What should I do now ?

Should I inform oinp ?

Is it going to impact my oinp file ?

I had only 15 days left to complete 4 years of experience. If completed my cec would have gone to 510.

If anyone can help in any way would be highyly appreciated!!!

So what type of work permit extension were you eligible for? If permit has expired you must stop working, and then restore status and reapply if eligible.
